HUNTfor provides automation and engagement tools for Instagram creators, enabling them to manage conversations, comments, and direct messages through authorised integrations with Meta Platforms and Instagram APIs.

  • Registered creators and users of the HUNTfor platform
  • Individuals interacting with creators via Instagram (comments, DMs, AMA replies)

  • Directly from you when you sign up, onboard, or configure your persona and automation settings
  • Via Instagram APIs, when you explicitly connect your Instagram account and grant permissions
  • Automatically, through secure logs and usage data generated while using our platform

Depending on your role and usage, we may collect:

Creator / User Data

  • Name, email address
  • Instagram account ID and username
  • Persona configuration and automation preferences
  • Platform usage and interaction logs

Instagram Interaction Data
(Collected only after creator authorisation)

  • Comments on posts
  • Direct messages (DMs)
  • Mentions and replies
  • Message timestamps and message IDs

Important: We do not read, process, or store private Instagram data without explicit user authorisation.

We process data for the following purposes:

  • To provide automated replies on comments, DMs, AMA, and mentions (Contractual necessity)
  • To operate creator-defined personas and engagement rules (Contractual necessity)

  • To ensure platform security, audit logs, and abuse prevention (Legal obligation & legitimate interest)
  • To comply with Meta Platform Policies and applicable laws (Legal obligation)

5. Instagram & Meta API Usage

HUNTfor uses official Meta and Instagram APIs in accordance with:

  • Meta Platform Terms
  • Instagram Graph API Policies
  • Data Use Checkup requirements

We:

  • Access only the permissions explicitly approved during OAuth login
  • Use Instagram data strictly for creator-initiated automation
  • Do not sell, rent, or misuse Instagram data
  • Automatically stop data access when a creator disconnects their Instagram account

6. Who We Share Your Data With

We may share data only with:

  • Meta / Instagram (as required for API operations)
  • Infrastructure and hosting providers under strict confidentiality
  • Legal or regulatory authorities, if required by law

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Data may be processed on secure servers located in the United States or other regions where our infrastructure providers operate.

12. Disconnecting Instagram Accounts

Creators may disconnect their Instagram account at any time.

Upon disconnection:

  • Automation is immediately disabled
  • API access tokens are revoked
  • No further Instagram data is collected
  • Existing data is retained only as required for legal or security purposes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated via:
